This is a non-ready-made sculpture, using the element of tattoo, the layout of the Burning Man Festival map, and the text about life, philosophy and soul, to create a giant tattooed brain.

I have made study on tattoo, one of the forms of expression of human body art. Its special artistry is also the embodiment of personal belief. Tattoo has a long history, lasting for more than 2,000 years, and there is no lack of the transmission of national spirit, such as the Maori face tattoo, Japanese Ukiyoe style tattoo, African tribal style and so on. In modern times, there are more tattoos of anti-social themes, portrait styles, Chinese painting themes, American new schools and old schools. Tattoo also represents a new hope, sustenance and start of individuals.

The manifestation of tattoo on the brain lays more emphasis on exploring the impossibility of surrealism, advocating the image that breaks through logic but has a sense of reality and amplifying the subconscious mind. Visually convey the response of abstract consciousness, and integrate the concept of reality with instinct and sub-consciousness to show the image world of deep psychology of human beings, beyond self but also in self.
 

​With a metaphor of the genitals of men and women, lotus painting pattern carries the deep meaning of family and symbolizes being born in the trouble of life and death, which is engraved in the brain with blooming posture, hoping to show another meaning of lotus in Buddhism- without being disturbed by the trouble of life and death.
